Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.

Reflection:

Wintertime is quite depressing. As you know the darkest moment is longer than the light of the day.

As I ponder God’s Word where it says that “ Your Word is a lamp for my feet and a light to my path,” it struck me that nowadays, we don’t use a lamp to light our path when it is dark, but we use a flashlight from our cellphones. In this present time, we could not live without our cell phones. It accompanies us wherever we go. It is the first that we look at when we woke up in the morning and the last thing we hold before we close our eyes at nighttime. It is constantly in our hands during the day. I could not say that we treat the Word of God (Bible ) the same way. It is said clearly in God’s Word that His Word is the light to our path. It would keep us safe from stumbling in this dark world concerning every trap on every corner that the enemy is planting wherever we went. I believe we should set our priorities straight or else we will fall into the pit that the enemy set before our path.
