Numbers 1:1-54
*About God:
1. Spoke to Moses to give him a command.
2. Given the Israelites detailed instructions
*God’s command:
1. To count all the Israelites by tribe and those that are above 20 years old to build an army.
Except for the clan of Levites because they will be the guardian of the Tabernacle of God.
*Example to follow: Moses and Aaron’s patience and the Israelites in doing what God commanded them to do.
*Prayer:
Dearest Father, as You spoke to Moses and Aaron, I thank You that You speak to us too by Your Living Word and in many other situations in our lives. May we be quick to listen and obey as the Israelites had done.
And may we protect and preserve ourselves from destruction as the Levites did to the Tabernacle. I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen
