What to do?

Word for word:

Practice: regular exercise in an activity or skill is the way to become proficient in it.

Things: a material object without life or consciousness; an inanimate object

Devote: to give up or appropriate to or concentrate on a particular pursuit, occupation, purpose, cause, etc.

Yourself:  an emphatic appositive of you, a reflexive form of you

Progress: a movement toward a goal or to a further or higher stage

Seen: something you had witnessed with your eyes

Reflection:

This verse tells the believers to practice an activity or skill to become competent with it. Not only that, it said that we should devote ourselves to what we are doing. And that is the road to success.

As Christians, we are expected to walk in faith, trust in God, share the gospel, be kind, be merciful, be forgiven, pray, believe, and not be afraid.

So, if we want to learn all those things, we should read diligently and devotedly the manual that God has given us, the Bible. We should also open our eyes to what is happening in our lives so that we could practice what we are learning and where God is opening a door for us to be able to do what he called us to.
