For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

Prayer:

Father God, for a long time now I am suffering from pain all over my body, fatigue, and fogged brain.

In my everyday life, sometimes I function, and sometimes are not. And I know that I m not alone in this. Out there some people had it worse. But still, God, thank You for the reminder that whatever we are going through, there will come a time when our eternal glory will outweigh them all because we put our faith and trust in You.

Thank You that when we are experiencing difficulties, we can seek comfort in You. Since we are still here on earth, You still have a purpose for each one.

Open our eyes Father where we can be of use. God, help us every day to act with common sense. And when the devil messes everything up, I thank You that You can make everything for the better in the end. 

In Romans 5:3-4 it reminds us to rejoice when we run into problems and trials, for we know that those things help us to learn to be patient. And patience develops character in us and helps us trust You God more and more each time we go through difficulties with You until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady.

Thank You that in everything that is happening in our lives, there is always something to learn. Every problem is a school. Every experience is an education. And challenges are for development.

Father God, I pray that we will be fast learners so that we will avoid going through the same difficulties repeatedly. Thank You that as we do, our characters will be more Christ-like. So I pray Oh God for those that read this prayer who are facing an enormous problem. It can be an incurable disease, difficulty in relationships, or loss of jobs, or loved ones. Maybe people who are near who goes astray or have strife in the family. Remind each one that everything will come to pass. Not to give up, instead grow up.

Thank You, God, that You can make us like You through our painful situations. God, through our difficulties, fulfills Your purposes in us and transforms us more and more into the person You have a purpose for us to be. I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen
